How to translate your website
Articles on: Design and Structure
At SpreadSimple you can easily localize your website.
Here's how to do that:
Go to the
Settings
Tab and in Website Language menu dropdown select one of the languages available in the dropdown menu. The labels like Search placeholder, Checkout form elements, branding, and others will be translated into the language of your choice.
For Arabic and Hebrew languages, there is RTL support.
It's possible (and we encourage you!) to rename the column names in the way that suits you the most.
For example, you can translate the English column name Price to the Spanish Precio so all the website elements are in Spanish.
After the changes are made and saved, reload the spreadsheet in the
Content
Tab and map the renamed column as Price again.
The same can be done with all the columns, just don't forget to remap them to the card elements you want to display.
In the
Checkout
Tab, go to the Cart settings where you can change the your cart and cart preview (if enabled) settings. The wording is translated automatically after the website language is selected and saved, but also you can customize your Cart title, Cart Button Text, Cart details text, etc…
